The Yuki Saiko A5 Plus is a slim and deceptively powerful surf rod which is well suited to general beach fishing on clean to mixed ground. The slim blank has an easy to use semi-parabolic action which loads nicely with an overhead or OTG cast. The tubular power tip helps to control the sinker during the cast and sits nicely in the tide whilst fishing. The three piece blank has an attractive matt carbon wrap finish which looks attractive without being gaudy. Fuji guides and a Fuji DPS reel seat had to the quality look and help make the Saiko A5 Plus a very nice rod for the price.
